Enhanced CPD transition tool

The enhanced CPD scheme is designed to support dental professionals to gain maximum benefit from their CPD activities.

The scheme will commence on 1 January 2018 for dentists and 1 August 2018 for all dental care professionals. However, we recognise that each of you are currently at different points in your CPD cycle,  depending on when you first registered.

You will remain on your current cycle but this may contain a combination of requirements under the old (2008-2017) CPD scheme and the enhanced CPD scheme, thus changing the CPD requirements.

In 2018, your exisiting and new CPD requirements will be prorated depending on the year in which the enhanced scheme is introduced into your cycle.

Please note, following completion of your current cycle, your next cycle will be based solely on the enhanced CPD scheme.
